Frequently Asked Questions

How much for authentication ?

  • To retrieve PSA/NBI documents and authenticate them through DFA, we charge a fee of 3000 pesos.

  • Embassy authentication service fees vary depending on the complexity of the process. For instance, we charge a service fee of 3000 pesos for the Taiwan embassy, excluding the embassy's own fees.

  • If you require processing of multiple documents and copies, please contact us for a special quote with a discount.
  • To receive a quote, please contact us and provide the details of the documents you need to retrieve, the required services, and the foreign embassy responsible for authenticating the documents.

How will you get the documents from PSA/NBI ?

  • You'll send us copies of your identification along with a letter of authorization.

  • We'll need to schedule an appointment first.

  • On the day of the appointment, we will go to the PSA office to get your documents (e.g., birth, marriage, or CENOMAR, etc.).

  • If you require DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) authentication, then we'll proceed to the next step.

How do you get an Apostille from DFA ?

  • We'll need a copy of your ID and original certificates (retrieved in the previous process).

  • To ensure document authenticity, we only authenticate new originals retrieved directly from a govt. office. We do not authenticate original documents already in your possession.

  • For a DFA Apostille, we will get an appointment first.

  • Upon successful authentication, we will either return your DFA-authenticated document to you or proceed with Embassy authentication if you require it.

  • At this stage, you can go to the DFA's official website to verify that your authentication has taken place.

Is Apostille same as Red Ribbon ?

  • Although they serve the same purpose, they are not equivalent.

  • Before joining the apostille convention, the DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) used the Red Ribbon to authenticate documents.

  • Starting in 2019, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) replaced the use of Red Ribbon with Apostille Certificates for authentication purposes.
  • The advantage of Apostille authentication is that it can be accepted directly in many countries without the need for embassy authentication.

What country embassies can you authenticate from ?

  • We can help you get documents authenticated from any embassy in Philippines.

  • Even if we are unfamiliar with an embassy, we can get information on your behalf and let you know the requirements.
